Currently, Marc is the President and CEO of Supima, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting American Pima cotton. This unique and premium cotton variety is known for its exceptional quality. Under Marc's leadership as both President and previously as Executive Vice President, Supima saw significant advancements in the branding and promotion of U.S. Pima cotton. A key achievement during this tenure was the establishment of the SUPIMA® trademark, which ensures consumers can identify and purchase products made with this superior fiber. Marc concurrently holds the position of Chairperson for the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), the world's leading program for sustainable cotton production. In this role, Marc spearheads initiatives aimed at transforming the global cotton supply chain for environmental and social betterment.

 

Marc's professional journey highlights their deep expertise in not only the commercial aspects of the cotton industry but also in its sustainability. This dual focus has positioned Marc as a pivotal figure in advocating for high-quality, ethical cotton production.

 

Educationally, Marc's journey began at Leaside High School (1981-1986), followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Western University (1986-1990), providing him with a solid foundation in the psychological and organizational aspects that have undoubtedly informed his approach to leadership and innovation in the cotton sector.
