Thinking about becoming an exchange student?

Rotary has one of the best programs in the world.  Exchanges for students 15 to 18.5 years old are sponsored by Rotary clubs in more than 100 countries.  You can contact Rotary in our area us with no obligation to continue with the process.

Applications should be submitted by the end of June of the year before you wish to leave on your Long Term Exchange.  Please contact Donna Goetzenberger at  5495rye@gmail.com directly, if you wish to apply after the June 30th deadline.  Applications for Short Term are due by the end of February, for Short Term Exchange.

Rotary in our area conducts exchanges in Europe, Latin America and Asia.   Normally our exchanges are in countries where English is not the dominate language in order to provide the most culturally rewarding experience.

Applications are available on line at http://www.rye5495.org/future-exchange-students.html

RYE is a secondary-school program for students who are currently attending high school and are between the ages of 15 and 18.5 as of August of the year of their departure for a year abroad.

Too often, people say, “I wish I had known about Rotary youth exchange when I was in high school.”  Be sure and let your friends and contacts who are now in high school know about this opportunity before it is too late for them to consider participating in this fantastic program.

"My exchange was one of the best years of my life! I got to have a second family, travel to another part of the world,
make lifelong friends from several different countries, and go on countless adventures.
Exchange is without a doubt an opportunity that I think everyone should take advantage of!"
