Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores attending Scottsdale area high schools: 
Applications for study overseas for one year as a Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) student are due in the Fall each year..
     • Have you ever thought about living and studying abroad?
     • Think it would be exciting to be a youth exchange student? 
     • Looking for a unique experience that will help prepare you for college?

Rotary youth exchange students spend the year living in an overseas city with a host family and attending school. This is a chance to:
     • Travel and see the world
     • Experience another culture
     • Master a new language
     • Return home having had a life changing experience
     • Be hosted by a local Rotary club of business and professionals

Youth exchanges will be conducted in Europe, South America and Asia in 2015-2016.  RYE is a secondary-school program for students who are currently attending high school are between the ages of 15 and 18.5 as of August of the year of their departure for a year abroad. 

Too often, people say, “I wish I had known about Rotary youth exchange when I was in high school.”  Be sure and let your friends and contacts who are now in high school know about this opportunity before it is too late for them to consider participating in this fantastic program. 


Recent News
Both Alexandra (Alex) DeWeese and Ashley Norman have returned from a year abroad in 2016-2017.  Alex in Netherlands and Ashley in Taiwan.  Both have spoke to our club and thanked the members for their life changing experience.  Ashley spoke in fluent Mandarin and Alex in Dutch. 

Valentina is here from Chile.   Not for a return year, but she is the second Valentia we have hosted from Chile.
